ELM is working with the City of Huntsville Community Development Department and Collaborative Community Solutions for Huntsville's Homeless to sponsor a Community Audit of Resources and Services Provided to our Homeless Population.  We will welcome Kelcey Johnson, Executive Director of the Memphis Hospitality Hub (MHH) on January 21 & 22 to take a close look at how our community addresses homelessness. The MHH provides wrap around services and opportunities for advancement out of homelessness.  Our hope is that he can recognize areas where we can improve our model in serving the homeless population and guide us in doing so more effectively.  The roundtable discussions will be held with community leaders as different service providers. There will also be a community forum on Friday January 22 at 6:30PM at the Downtown Rescue Mission to share lessons learned that will help us improve our service model for Huntsville's chronically homeless. For safety, the forum will also be presented via Zoom. To register for Zoom, go to https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJYpfuGorjssHtw5I4JyuW8zv8jhPTecTo0b.

We thank Community Development, First Stop, The Salvation Army, New Futures, HPD, and the Downtown Rescue Mission for partnering with us on this event.
